Turangi Public Library Photographic Display

Come along and reminisce about the good old days

A local history photographic display will be held at the Turangi Library during Easter and over the School Holidays.

You are invited to come along and reminisce about the good old days.

When: From now until the end of May during Turangi Library Opening Hours.

Where: Turangi Public Library, Town Centre, Turangi.

Cost: FREE!

Photographs on Display

Photographs on view include fishing from the Cooper Collection, steamers on lake Taupo, the centenary of the gifting of National Park, Tongariro Hydro Power Scheme, Hautu and Rangipo prisons, fishing in the 1920’s and the Turangi hatchery. Early Waihi, Tokaanu and Rotoaira also feature.

These beautiful photos will be on display till the end of May so come along and enjoy a stroll down memory lane.
