Library week events at Turangi

Monday 16th August to Sunday 22nd August

Local Artists will be at the Turangi Public Library to share their knowledge, crafts and skills.
Monday 16th August 10:00am till 12:00pm
We will have weavers from Te Wananga o Aotearoa visiting come down and take a look, or have a go.
Tuesday 17th August 10:00am till 12:00pm
Margaret Scott will be in the library showing embroidery, great for people interested in embroidery or if you just want to see what its all about.
Wednesday 18th August 10:00am till 12:00pm
Gerard McMullan will be in the library displaying Sculpture
Also New Zealand's Largest Story Time! Children, librarians, parents and teachers will gather in libraries
all across the country for this very special event
Thursday 19th August 10:00am till 12:00pm
Jim Swetman will look at fly tying, great for all the keen fishermen and women out there.
Friday 20th August 10:00am till 12:00pm
Shar Joyce will demonstrate the art of Card Making
From 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Gendi Te Keepa will give talk and demonstration around Personal Style and Image.
