Fees and Charges

Current fees and charges for Mangakino, Turangi and Taupo Libraries are:

$1.50 for new and replacement cards.

Hot Picks $5.00 for two week hire.

DVDs $3.00 for one week hire.

CDs $0.50 for four week hire.

$8 from reciprocal libraries. Cost varies for items from other libraries.

There is a charge for items returned or renewed after the due date.

Books: 5 - 28 days: $0.10 per day, per item. After 28 days, items are assumed to be lost.

Rental Items: If overdue by more then 2 days a further rental fee will automatically be charged.

If you have damaged or lost a book give us a call so we can sort it out as soon as possible.

Avoid charges and renew your books.

Library members can renew items online. Log into your Library Account using your FULL library card number and pin number.

Don't have a pin? You can Request a pin. Or have a chat to staff next time you are in the library.

Please note, items can only be renewed once online. Rental items will be charged again if renewed.
