LTCCP Amendment July 2011

The Council is considering participating as an “Establishing Shareholding Local Authority” in the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency Limited (LGFA), which will be a Council Controlled Trading Organisation (CCTO).

The LGFA is being established by a group of local authorities and the Crown to enable local authorities to borrow at lower interest margins than would otherwise be available.
