Mountview Primary welcomes 40km/hr school zone

Mountview Primary School on Rangatira Street is the second school in Taupō to receive an active 40km/hr school speed zone, which was officially opened on Friday with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The speed zone includes the installation of new solar-powered, time-activated speed limit signs. more

Decisions on Owen Delany Park tree replant to be made

Taupō District Council has formed a working group to make decisions about replanting trees at Owen Delany Park after strong winds caused significant damage to existing pinetree plantations. The plantations will be harvested and the income will go toward replanting or landscaping the damaged areas. more

Qualmark score indicates improved service at AC Baths
