Taupo Super Loo

The Super Loo was one of the first user-pays facilities to be developed specifically for the travelling public. It is situated on Tongariro Street, beside the traffic lights.

Facilities and Services

For a small charge of 50 cents, users have access to the toilets which include standard and Asian toilets and a bidet. Open 8.00am-5.00pm.

Also available at a modest charge are:

• showers
• toiletries
• towels
• lockers for storing travel bags
• free facilities available for the disabled
• parent room for attending to baby's needs

Taupo Super Loo is supervised at all times by attendants who maintain a high standard of cleanliness and security for the 280,000 plus visitors who use the facility annually.
